Virtual event and alumni get together, April 22nd, April 28-29th 2021

 

Due to the Corona pandemic we had to cancel our second campus week in Berlin. Instead we have created a similar, virtual program to conduct the theoretical part and lessons learned of the "ERA-Fellowship - Science Management" action.

 

Thursday, April 22nd, 2021: Picking up where we left? Stock taking / grants management

2020 ERA Fellows and partners only

10:00 - 10:15 Virtual coffee (participants enter and familiarise themselves with the setting), organisational info
10:15 - 10:30 Welcome Address, BMBF
10:30 - 12:00 ERA Fellowships 2019/20 sharing experience of their fellowship before, during and despite the Corona pandemic (virtual round tables)
12:00 - 12:30 Lunch break
12:30 - 13:15 Presentation of outcomes from the first round of ERA Fellowships, followed by discussion
13:15 - 14:15 Interactive workshop: Grants management Input from fellow Dr. Olga Pliszczyńska-Mokijewska, International Cooperation Center, UMCS Lublin, Poland, followed by discussion (all participants)
14:15 - 14:30 wrap up of day

14:15 – 15:00 A new horizon – What’s new in Horizon Europe? Input from the German NCP network, discussion Astrid Mechel, EU Bureau of the BMBF, DLR Project management agency
